For more than 50 years, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School has been a leader in serving students with individualized learning needs.
The CareerReady Program at STVM, proudly supported in part by the Charles and Salome Reymann Foundation, blends tradition with innovation to prepare students with cognitive and developmental learning differences for life beyond high school. Through small-group instruction, everyday skill-building, and hands-on work experiences, the CareerReady Program empowers students to build independence and confidence for college, career, and daily life. Students practice essential life skills such as budgeting, transportation, and communication while exploring career interests through internships, job shadowing, and community service. | ![]() |

Thanks to the Reymann Foundation’s support, CareerReady students at STVM now have expanded access to Stark State University – Akron Campus. Through this partnership, students can:
- Explore college life and independence.
- Gain hands-on work experience on a college campus.
- Enroll in Stark State’s robust College Credit Plus (CCP) courses, giving them the opportunity to explore career pathways such as HVAC, Veterinary Assistant, Culinary Arts, Welding, and more.

At STVM, the CareerReady Program ensures every student graduates with the skills, support, and confidence to thrive—today and in the future.
